Our
publishing market's first album presenting underwater photos by
Polish photographers. It unveils the domain of the Red Sea's coral
reefs and submarine gardens, filled with colors and hues. This
unique place on earth, created by the forces of nature, is in
mortal danger from man, the only intruder in this underwater paradise.
Each photo satisfies the eye, and the book design allows the reader
to feel the depth of the pictures and wander beyond the edges
of the photos in his mind's eye. The authors' introduction initiates
the reader into the world of diving and coral reefs. The publication
was nominated for awards and honors in the Polish Association
of Book Publishers 43rd Competition for Most Beautiful Books of
the Year 2002.
"The
Dramiński's photos show all the dazzling extravagance of nature
there. Hundreds of different creatures in fantastic shapes and
colors amidst underwater crevices, caves and hollows. An unbridled
frenzy of colors.... A mysterious and enticing world."
