The Album attempts to show the dominant trends in Polish printmaking
in recent years. It presents the work of forty-seven artists from
the major centers of Polish printmaking, reproduced whit unusual
perfection and care, with a foreword by Danuta Wróblewska and
an introduction by Tomasz Gryglewicz. It took honors in the 1997
Polish Association of Book Publishers Competition for Most Beautiful
Books of the Year, and it was judged the best-looking new book
by Gazeta Wyborcza.
